On July 29-31, the Nostalgia AA/Gassers presented by Summit Racing Equipment, will make their way back to Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway in Lancaster, NY for their Sunday Nostalgia event which will mark the 9th year in a row the club has participated in this historic event. As always, the club will be running their Heads Up, All Out racing program that will provide the fans with the quickest and fastest Gassers in the world!

The club will have an 8 car field on hand battling it out to prove who has the quickest AA/GS car on the property.The list of club members includes Jr. Ward in Jim Oddy’s 1934 Willys Sedan “Junkyard Dog”, “Motoring” Michael Campolucci in Larry Morton’s 1933 Willys Coupe “Code Blue”, Tom Fritz in his 1941 Willys Pick Up “Goin’ Broke”, Jeff Cryan in his 1933 Willys Pickup “Ron Bizio”,  Al Borowski in his 1951 Anglia “ScottRods”, Mike Kalinowski in his 1948 Austin “Unfinished Business”, Al Niespodzinski Jr driving his father  “AA” Al’s 1933 Willys Coupe “Caged Heat” and Derek Childress driving his 1933 Willys Coupe “Classical Gas”.

Qualifying will begin Saturday afternoon with two rounds being available, followed by eliminations on Sunday. Lancaster National Speedway & Dragway is geared up to host one of their signature events. This event is one of the biggest of its kind and features three days of drag racing, a classic car show on Sunday and reliving a memorable time in Western New York drag racing history.
